Fun at Bat is an after school enrichment program made possible through a collaborative partnership between Major League Baseball, USA Baseball, Franklin Sports, and SHAPE America. As an affiliate of Major League Baseball, Willis Sports Association, (WSA) facilitates Fun at Bat at Sebastian River Elementary School and Treasure Coast Elementary School in Sebastian, Florida.  Fun at Bat engages children in modified baseball play and focuses on expanding the time in which children spends reading outside of the classroom.  Social competencies such as helping others, honesty, leadership, and being supportive are taught through the stories of sport legends like Jackie Robinson, Mo'Ne Davis, Bae Ruth, Willie Mays, and many more. The Fun at Bat program curriculum endorses early childhood academic success through literacy, supports character building that instills morals, and encourages outside PLAY.
